Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements. Project management is accomplished through the appropriate application and integration of the 47 logically grouped project management processes, which are categorized into five Process Groups. These five Process Groups are:
• Initiating,
Planning,
Executing,
Monitoring and Controlling, and
Closing.
12.3 管理采购
管理采购是管理采购关系,监督合同绩效以及采取必要的变更和纠正措施的过程。
卖方和买方都出于相似的目的而管理采购合同。
任何一方都必须要确保双方履行合同义务。确保各自的合法权利得到保护。
管理采购过程旨在确保卖方的绩效达到采购要求,并且买方也按照合同条款履约。
对于有多个供应商的较大项目,合同管理的一个重要方面就是管理各个供应商的界面。
12.4 结束采购
结束采购是完结单次项目采购的过程。要结束采购,就需要确认全部工作和可交付成果均可验收。因此结束采购过程可以支持结束项目或阶段过程。
结束采购过程还包括一些行政工作,例如处理未决索赔,更新记录以反映最后的结果。。。
需要针对项目或者项目阶段中的每个合同,开展结束采购过程。
采购结束后,未决正义可能要进入诉讼程序。
合同条款和条件可以规定结束采购的具体程序。
合同提前终止是结束采购的一个特例。合同可以由双方协商一致提前终止,或者因一方违约而提前终止,或者因为买方的便利而提前终止(如果合同中有这种规定的话)
合同终止条款规定了合同双方对合同提前终止的权利和责任。

在CPIF中,如果最终成本低于或者高于原始估算,则买方和卖方要根据事先商定的成本分摊比例来分享节约部分或者分担超过部分 , 例如,基于卖方的实际成本,按照80/20的比例分担(分享)超过(低于)目标成本的部分
